This specific barrel was aged for approximately 8 years in new charred American white oak, developing a balance between youthful intensity and emerging oak maturity.
The barrel yielded a very limited run (commonly reported around ~170 bottles), making it a genuinely scarce release in the Willett lineup.
At 126.4 proof, this bourbon sits firmly in Willett’s high-strength single barrel range, delivering concentrated flavor and heat that reflects both long aging and significant barrel evaporation.
